    I'm trying to use Mockmoon to mock an API locally and using an app I made in go to interact with the mock API.When I try to use localhost, only my browser can make requests, but when I change the hostname to my device's API and try to make requests through my app, it gets timed out and if I turn the firewall off, it makes the connection just fine. This leads me to believe that the problem comes from the firewall itself, but I can't find any way to make an exception to something running inside WSL.My mock apiMy Go app

    Windows Firewall blocks App Store from downloading new apps

    Hi,

    Let's try to check if the app store you're referring to if it's really blocked by Windows Firewall. See these steps:

    • Open Windows Firewall from the taskbar >
      Firewall & network protection       > Allow an app through firewall.
    • A new window will show up containing the list of the apps that ca be allowed through Firewall.
    • Look for the app you want to be accessed, and make sure that the Domain, Private and Public are ticked. That would allow the app store to be accessed.

    Let us know what happens after doing the suggestion.

    WSL is blocked by SAC ?

    Hello,

    I'm reaching out to the community for assistance with a persistent WSL issue. Upon attempting to launch WSL, I'm encountering the following error:

    WslLaunchInteractive failed with error: 0x800711e6 - System Integrity policy has been violated. Explicit denied file.

    Steps Taken:

    1. I have reset the Ubuntu Linux distribution.
    2. I have uninstalled and reinstalled WSL.
    Despite these efforts, the issue persists. I am running Windows 11 build no: 22631.2715 with WSL 2.0.9.0, and the error occurs every time I try to start WSL.

    Has anyone faced a similar issue? Specifically, I'm seeking guidance on navigating the System Integrity policy that's seemingly causing the block. Any insights into how Smart App Control impacts WSL's functionality and possible configurations to mitigate this would be greatly appreciated.
