windows defender gives warning when I compile and run in devc++ ,this is warning : PUADlManager:Win32/DownloadSponsor and cant delete whatever it is

Windows Defender Battery Life Warning - infinite timeout

After the 1703 Creators Update installed, I received a battery power warning that "The sleep timeout on this device is currently set to infinite". Opening the power settings and correcting the battery timeout from 'Never' to 15 minutes did not clear the
warning, even after a restart. I then changed the plugged in setting from Never to 5 hours and restarted but the warning still persists.

I tried the solution suggested below and assumed this had no effect because SFC did not find any problems and the flag remained. Following the steps for the clean boot includes disabling Defender warnings so I could not see if there was a warning. After
the failure of the DISC process and a further reboot, I used Task Manager to re-enable Defender warnings. The warning is no longer reported. It may be that simply using the start-up tab in Task Manager to disable warnings followed by a reboot and re-enabling
warnings is all that is required. I tried to test this by setting the timeouts back to 'Never', but Defender no longer warns that I have an infinite timeout set...

 

Windows defender Trojan repeated warning

Every time I restart my computer I get a new threats found alert from windows defender. Scan history in Windows Defender Security Center shows in Quarantined threats "Trojan:JS/Runas Severe". This presents the option to Restore or Remove. I selected
Remove, but next time I restart I get the same warning. If I look at the details in Windows Defender Security Center I see "This program is dangerous and executes commands from an attack." Affected items is listed as a file in C:\users\[my username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\IE\[6
letter code]\deploy[1].xml. The folder C:\users\[my username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache does not exist on my computer so I am unable to look deeper into this. The 6 letter code is different for each warning. How do I remove this threat/problem
permanently so that it does not give a warning each time I restart.

As can be seen from the UPDATE edit added to my original post, I did succeed in getting rid of the warning triangle, but after resetting the timeouts back to never, the warning did not come back immediately.

They warning did return after a few days. From a separate post on April 8th

(Redirecting) I could see that other people are having issues with Defender's device performance and health
problems. It seems that these are only flagged/updated after a system scan. In this other thread, users are complaining that there is no means to turn off specific warnings once viewed and reset the warning triangle to a green check mark until any new, different,
problem was detected. The Forum Moderator replied on April 15th saying:

"Thank you for bringing this up. We’re aware that a couple of our device health monitoring engines are over-firing yellow alerts and we’re working on tuning them. We should have a fix soon."

That thread has been marked as answered, but there is no actual solution nor a timescale for a solution.

Ideally this feature should be a separate utility that users can run according to their own preference. If run automatically, any warnings should be separate from the Defender status icon.

I guess that we will just have to wait until Microsoft sees fit to prioritise a fix.
