Windows 10: Windows Defender GONE - Wifi, sound icon, calendar, language options not working on the...

Where do I start.Happy updrage from Windows 10 to 11 only it turns out it's been a game of who's the best wizard between me and Windows.Windows defender is gone even after a second install. And no I'm not wiping out my drive to do a fresh install.The right icons on the task bar do not work or react on click. To change my sound settings I have to right click then go to the settings page which is not so practical.Also whenever I move an icon in the task bar it freezes and then I have to restart the explorer, that only happened after the second install.I had Windows defender disabled through grou

I tried all the suggestions listed beforehand and my wifi icon has gone from the notifications area as well as the list in the settings for the task bar and notification area. does anyone know how to get it back? none of the suggestions so far have worked.

 

Feature suggestion: Add "Options" screen + add icon for it

Suggestion:
The place for the options, namely the top left corner system menu, is a bit strange, most similar programs do not use it like that.
Most programs use a separate Options (or maybe Settings, whichever sounds best) screen.

So, I suggest for the menu items in the system menu to become like this:
Restore
Move
Size
Minimize
Close
Check for Update...
Options
Read Asic Quality
Launch GPU-Z Instaler
About...
(or maybe Always on Top option can also stay)

Also, optionally I suggest adding a Gear or maybe Wrench icon next to the Camera icon in top right.
When that Gear or Wrench icon is clicked, for the Options/Settings screen to appear.
Where we have the Tooltips, Always on Top, Tooltip language and the other options.

NOTE: Also, if the Size system menu item as well as the Restore menu item are not needed, they can both be removed. It is not trivial, but there is a way. *Smile

Suggestion to have an option to change Notification Area icon this way too.
