Windows 10: Windows Defender Home screen

Hi

I just installed Win 10 v1803 and seem to have lost the Windows Defender screen with the three tabs (Home, Update and History), where the Home tab shows a monitor with a big white tick on a green background on the left, along with the scan options (quick, full, custom and scan now) on the right. Is this no longer available? It was much easier to use than the new "Security Centre" screen options that have replaced the program at the shortcut I used.

Windows Defender problem

Hi Ernst,

To troubleshoot this issue, we suggest that you check the Windows Defender service if it's running. If you are using a third party spyware/malware program, it may disable the Windows Defender service. To do this, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + R key.
• Type services.msc.
• Right-click Windows Defender service and click
  Start.
