Windows 10: Windows Defender is gone.

Discus and support Windows Defender is gone. in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; Defender is missing. I can go in to the menu but nothing works.     Windows Defender is gone.


    Defender is missing. I can go in to the menu but nothing works. It just spinnes and says that it has been stopped. I can't even find it in windows files, services or in any place. The firewall is there but not defender. I got a code -2147416390 and I used the calculator in programming mode to get 0x800106BA. Have only manage to get the code one time. I have used Malwarebytes for years and it was Malwarebytes who told me that defender was turned off. I tried to uninstall MB to resolve the issue. But it did not help. I have now googled for weeks and are getting tired of it by now... It is like t

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    Windows Defender Scans

    Check again in tab Applications. Then scroll down to category Utilities. There you should see Windows Defender listed.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps to recover the deleted files in Windows Defender and check if it helps.

    • In the search box type as ‘Windows Defender’ and click on it.
    • Under the tab ‘History’ select the option ‘Quarantined items’.
    • Click on ‘View Details’ and check if any files are available.
    • If the files are present then click on the file and click on ‘Restore’.
