Windows 10: Windows Defender isn't showing anything

Discus and support Windows Defender isn't showing anything in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; My laptop restarted out of no where, when turned on I tried to open windows security but nothing showed up.     Windows Defender isn't showing anything


    My laptop restarted out of no where, when turned on I tried to open windows security but nothing showed up. I looked for some help and it said to check services.msc, I did so but out of 4 windows defender services I only found 1 which was windows defender firewall.

    Printer isn´t working after latest update.

    After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
    3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

    Cortana isn´t working

    When I hit enter, it did something, but there´s still no Cortana, even after restart. So I tried it again, but now it says that it failed, because it´s already installed and it´s working in PC. So it should work, but Cortana still isn´t here.

    Windows Defender isn't showing anything

    How do I remove/disable McAfee and Defender so I can run AVG?

    I noticed on my computer I have both mcafee and defender...defender doesn,t appear in the list of programs, I believe it is part of the operating system..Does anyone know how to disable it. I understand it isn,t a strong protector...Mcafee does appear
    in my programs and I could delete it. I would like both of them to go away so I could put on AVG....

    any suggestions
