Windows 10: Windows Defender: List of Data scanned

Hello,Where will I found the list of data files, paths, processes,... scanned by Windows Defender?I am able to find the list of exclusions but not the reverse!!! I have checked the Event ViewerWindows logsApplicationSecuritySystemApplications and ServicesMicrosoft > Windows > Windows Defender > Operational I checked also EndpointProtection.log in C:\Windows\CCM\Logs & also C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Support\MPLog-202302xx.log I could not find what I need. I need to see what was scanned by Windows Defender between 02:00 am and 02:30 am this morning: files, paths, p

This issue might occur if you have set any task scheduler for Windows Defender.

I suggest you to delete the task for Windows defender and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Search and open Schedule tasks.
  
• 
  In the left-hand menu, open the Task Scheduler Library, then select
  Microsoft >Windows >Windows Defender.
  
• 
  Double-click Windows Defender Scheduled Scan.
  
• 
  Select the Triggers panel, then select Delete.

Windows defender custom scan does not scan external drives

Hi Joe,

to scan external drives using Windows Defender, follow the steps provided below.

• Open Windows Defender.
• Go to Settings tab.
• Select the Advanced option.
• tick the checkbox for Scan removable drives.
