Windows defender log Injection into process is blocked

I schedule a scan using Task Scheduler as follows: "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe" with parms of: -Scan -ScanType 2 -GetFiles then when I look at the logs in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Support, I see in one of the logs this, repeated many times: 2022-03-10T12:48:01.040Z [Mini-filter] Injection into process 9700 from process 2952 is BLOCKED. 2022-03-10T12:48:01.040Z [Mini-filter] Injection into process 9700 from process 2952 is BLOCKED. Also, I see this.2022-03-10T13:14:03.982Z ProcessImageName: Agent.exe, Pid: 2952, TotalTime: 564, Count: 181, MaxTime: 140, M

Turn On Windows Defender Block Suspicious Behaviors in Windows 10

The DWORD is set to 0 and I cannot get the process you suggested in the "NOTE" portion of the tutorial to work. Two attached screen shoots will show the before and after attempts to change the Permissions necessary for access to the DWORD change.

Unable to Remove Exclusions from Windows Defender

Thank you for posting back. If you trust a file, file type, folder, or a process that Windows Defender Antivirus has detected as malicious, you can stop Windows Defender Antivirus from alerting you or blocking the program by adding the file to
the exclusion list. It seems that it was added automatically. We suggest that you follow these steps:

    • Go to Settings and select Update & security.
    • Click Windows Defender.
    • Look for Exclusions and select Add an exclusion.
    • Navigate to the file, folder, or process, and select Exclude this file.

If the steps provided did not work, we recommend that you boot your device to
    Safe Mode
    and redo the process.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Windows Defender is blocking too much saying it viruses

    Hi Sam,

Based on the screenshot that you've provided, Controlled Folder Access is turned on, blocking most apps that you're using. We suggest that you turn it off to allow blocked apps in Windows Defender. Follow the steps below:

    • Select Start > Settings.
    • Choose Update & security > Windows Defender.
    • Select Open Windows Defender Security Center.
    • Select Virus & threat protection, and then choose Virus & threat protection settings.
    • Under Controlled folder access, turn it on or off.
    • Once done, try accessing the apps and see if you can now access them.

Should you need further assistance, feel free to post back.
