    Windows Defender not opening in Win 11 Eval Build 22581


    So i'm running into an issue when trying to open windows defender where it prompts me to download something from the Microsoft store. I tried opening Powershell as well but it will not open either as administrator either. I'm sure it's just a temporary bug but anything that I can do to fix this?

    Windows Activation Failed after updating to Preview build

    Hi Andre,

    Previously I was on Win 10 latest build (Dint remember exact build). Changed the update settings to receive Insider Preview builds, fast mode. I remember the last update installed was related to Windows Defender but not related any windows settings or version
    upgrade. Not sure how come the windows version edition got changed.

    Surprisingly I was unable to login to the system. Current build is Win 10 Home insider Preview Eval Copy build 17063.rs_prerelease.171213-1610.

    Soon I will try the fix you suggested and will update the post.

    Windows Defender not opening in Win 11 Eval Build 22581

    Windows 10 installation has failed - Windows 10 eval version to Windows 10 released version

    I am already on Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview Evaluation copy Build 10074 but for the life of me and my computer it will not let me update to the released Window 10 ( nor 10240 eval build).

    I have taken it off domain. Deleted the C:\windows\softwaredistribution\download contents

    and all other suggested things.

    I cant get my computer to go back to Windows 8 or get out of this eval version.

    Please help.
