  1. Windows Defender Offline Scan Threat History empty

Dear reader,I'am looking for the scan results of the windows defender offline scan on a PC with Windows 10 LTSC 1809 fully updated. When I do a quick scan I have the following results:So here I can see the information about the threats, duration, etc...But when I do a offline scan and look at the threat history its totally empty as shown below:Is there a way that I can get the information of the offline scan the same as with a quick scan? Thanks in advance,Best regards,Johan

    :)

  2. no record of defender offline scan

Thank both of you for replying.

There is no "Scan History" but there is a "Threat History", clicked on that and saw "Full History" which simply said there were not threats.

No history of the last scan other than that 3 day old quick scan

I looked that web page listed above and tried the following that showed no response

    PS C:\WINDOWS\system32>

    PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> Get-MpThreatDetection

    PS C:\WINDOWS\system32>

I am running a full scan now. I would have expected that a record of the offline scan would have shown up in history, not just "no threats"

Recent update was the humongous 1903 Feature update.

[EDIT] Full scan just completed and the history was updated. It seems your off-line scan does not report to defender like the quick or the full.

  3. Windows Defender Offline Scan results?

Its not giving me the scan results. Only when I started and ended the scan.

According to this knowledge base here the results should be under the Threat History or Protection History (v1903).

Defender Periodic Scanning or Offline Scanning?

That link does suggest it's useful to use Defender offline scanning in addition to periodic scanning and a third party real time anti virus (e.g. Kaspersky).
