Windows 10: Windows defender offline scan won't finish and there is no log either

Hi guys today i wiped my 3 disks because i got some virus infector on my PC a couple days ago.Today after installing everything i needed back i ran a malwarebytes and windows defender full scan, then i had to do the offline scan at last, but when the PC restarted this happened:Offline scan startedOffline scan reached 91% and PC restarted abruptlyI checked C:\Windows\Microsoft Antimalware\Support and no log was created last log is from 4 hours before, when i did the default full scan with microsoft defenderThe event viewer log of the scan is the following: from when the scan started and the

Windows Security will only show you the last time your system was scanned by Microsoft Defender Antivirus instead of the offline scan tool.

Microsoft Defender Offline Scan log files are stored as a MPLog-YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS.log file located in the C:\Windows\Microsoft Antimalware\Support folder.

Defender Periodic Scanning or Offline Scanning?

That link does suggest it's useful to use Defender offline scanning in addition to periodic scanning and a third party real time anti virus (e.g. Kaspersky).

To further assist you with your concern with Windows Defender, follow the steps below:

• Open the Run window by pressing Window + R button.
• Then type services.msc and hit "Enter".
  
• Look for Windows defender service in the list and right click on it and select start.
• Once Windows defender is opened try to do the offline scan on that window.
