Windows 10: Windows Defender on Windows 10- black screen after clicking on anythin

Hi,

I upgraded my Lenovo ThinkPad to Windows 10. Now Windows Defender is using 50-80% of my CPU. Unfortunately, I can't try any of the solutions because whenever I click on anything (Cortana, control panel, browser) I get a black screen. Eventually it goes back to the desktop but I still can't get to anything to try to disable Windows Defender.

Any suggestions?

Windows Defender offline

I have a Dell Insprion laptop running Windows 10. After the latest Wondows update, the laptop gets stuck on a black screen after it's POST. It will eventually go into Windows Defender Offline, do a scan and then restart, then after the POST I get a black
screen again. It will not go any further and just loops into Windows Defender Offline again, etc.

Is there any way of disabling Defender Offline without going into Windows?

I am just trying to get to Safe Mode so I can do a Reset.

Windows 10 wont start, after successful install?

So it started
here

I disabled Windows Defender and was able to completely install Windows 10 and my computer was working normally for a night, Windows 10 actually looked promising...

BUT in the morning I woke up to a black screen. Restarted a few times, and it is still a black screen after boot. Tried loading Windows Boot Manager, black screen. Not sure what to do.
