windows defender says "Your IT administrator has limited some areas of this app , and the item you tried to access is not available" when i want to scan file and can't scan my laptop. Can someone please help me resolve this. I have tried using the powershell script but that did not correct this error. thanks, chris

Windows Defender: Your IT administrator has limited access to some areas of this app.

Windows Defender works (or rather its real-time protection), but for some reason it doesn't work as it should: there is no "Virus & Threat Protection" tab, when trying to open this tab through the search on the taskbar or through "Settings", a window appears with the error "Your IT administrator has limited access to some areas of this app. ...". Also, the "Device security" tab shows only "Standard hardware security not supported". Everything was absolutely normal and Windows Defender was working as it should, then the above described problems occurred.
