Windows 10: Windows defender settings wont open.

Whenever i try to open windows defender in settings, it instantly closes on itself. I try to have a look at the settings, and it still instantly closes, even when i press the button. Is there a way to fix this??I have tried many commands. Even in the services.msc, i cant find windows defender. i tried to run commands which didnt work either. There is no error message either, which leads me to think that its a problem when i factory reset the computer. All i want to do is activate vanguard anti cheat.

Please follow the below steps and check if it works,

• Press “Windows key + I” to open the Settings screen.
  

I suggest you to sign out from the current user account, restart the computer and then sign in to the Administrator account to check if this helps

Defender wont open 0x800106ba


First hello im new here.
I searched all the forum but couldnt find answer.
I have a problem about windows defender(0x800106ba)



(it says something about defender service bla bla bla restart pc..and i checked the service)
(Also i dont use another AV utility)



I try to run windefend service again but nothing happens.
And i cant do anything on my Windows defender page on settings:

I would suggest you to open Windows defender and add exclusions and check if it helps. Follow the steps to add exclusions in windows Defender.

• 
  Type Windows defender settings in the search bar and press enter
  
• 
  Under Exclusions click on Add Exclusion
