Windows 10: Windows Defender, Something went wrong, we coudn't install a required component. HOW TO FIX??

I reformat my laptop. and noticed that i have a windows defender icon but when im trying to open it, it doesn't open.. It just says I need to install it. So I Install it and now this "something went wrong" appeared please see attachment below. I already update all the updates from Windows Update and for now I dont have any pendings.I already reboot the laptop after the updates. and still it shows up.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
