    What program trying to access it?

    Run Windows Update and install all updates.

    It is new feature in the latest version of Windows 10, it blocked unauthorized access to folder and you may enable or disable it in Windows Defender Settings.

    i keep receiving Virus & Threat Protection notification

    UNAUTHORIZED CHANGES BLOCKED

    Controlled Folder Access blocked C:/Windows\...\notepad.exe from making changes to the folder %userprofile%...\Documents

    but it happen with anything i try and save, create etc.....please help
