Windows 10: Windows Defender Update Stuck at 57%

I'm on Win10 Build 10130 and have just noticed this problem for the first time. From the Updates window (https://i.imgur.com/R4DooGc.png) this update just sits at 57%. I can't cancel, restart or anything and there are multiple other updates that are in queue but won't begin due to this.

Any idea how to fix it? I don't use defender but use Avast, MalwareBytes, and CCleaner.

Installation fails or becomes non-responsive at certain point during setup 18%, 62%, Driver Migration, Applying Settings.

Hello.

I have installed windows 10 pro and it is currently downloading Service Pack 1 for Microsoft Office 2013, however it is stuck at 57% thus not allowing to download the rest. I've tried running the troubleshooter and it says something about being corrupt.
How do I fix this?

As a test, see if stopping and starting the Windows Update service will allow them to successfully download and install after checking next. *Smile

When it happens to me,I restart the computer and go back to updates and retry it.Then it will continue.

 

When it happens to me, I just update WD thru it instead from general updates, works every time.
