    Windows Defender will not load + Cannot open previously executable file


    I attempted to launch an executable I was using just fine about a week ago, but when I came back home and tried to launch it again, it told me that the operation did not complete successfully because the file contained a virus or potentially unwanted software.So then I attempted to launch Windows Defender/Windows Security to add the file to the exclusion list, but it just shows the logo and never actually loads anything. I have tried to both repair and reset the app through the Installed Apps, to no avail. I also cannot click on Windows Security in the Privacy & Security tab in Windows Set

    opening .dds files with gimp

    Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

    The system is infected by miners and other malware, which have deleted your Defender executables completely. A repair installation is suggested.

    Before that, please do the following:

    • Save Fixlist.txt in the same folder where EnglishFRST64.exe is.
    • Close all program windows.
    • Launch the Farbar Scanner tool and click "Fix".
    • Upload the output log file (FixLog.txt) to your OneDrive.
