  1. Windows Defender won't restart, Definition Updates taking up too much hard drive space

Hi there,I'm running Windows 11 x64 Home Edition and noticed that this folder is taking up an unprecedented amount of space on my main drive. I've tried Disc Cleaner and CCleaner but neither were able to remove these files. On a similar note, Windows Defender is off and will not restart. Restart attempts result in an "unexpected error". Any advice?Thank you!-Brett

    Windows Defender Definition Update

I have disabled Windows Defender in Windows 10, but the Windows Defender Definition Updates are still being downloaded and installed, these updates are wasting my hard disk space.

Are there ways to stop downloading of these updates.
