    Windows Desktop Crushes after Windows 1803 update


    Yesterday I performed a windows 10 1803 update . Today when I went to open my pc it wrote me

    "Location is not available

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is not accessible

    Access is denied


    I hit ok and the the recycle bin shows up . Although the screen is black with no programs showing up . So is the taskbar . I can't hit the Windows button or the search bar. But I can open task manager . I hopping for a solution soon!!!!

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

    Any Office365 users here? Does Outlook (or any Office app for that matter) request activation after each system restart post this Windows 1803 update?
