Windows 10: Windows didnt create memory dump after crashes

I ran into 2 BSODS in space of 10 mins, I couldn't find any memory.dmp file in root directory, and Windows restarted very quickly after the blue screen so I didn't get to spot the error message. How do I make sure Windows logs the crash next it time? I manually set it to 'Kernel memory dump' from Automatic in system Settings, is this enough? Microsoft support page mentions that the pagefile needs to be the same or bigger than the physical memory installed, I have 8 GBs, does this mean pagefile needs to be 8 too?

Minidump files (small memory dumps) contain information on a BSOD such as the drivers that are loaded during a crash and may pinpoint the cause of the crash.

PC crashes randomly

uploaded yesterday'd dump file.

after that crash I spent the entire evening watching Youtube videos, that didnt cause any new crashes

Please check if your system is configured for collecting dumpfiles. (6. To have Windows Create a Small memory dump (Minidump) File on BSOD
If you are using CCcleaner or similar Apps please uncheck deleting dumpfiles option.

Yes, both 'Write an event to system log' and and 'Auto restart' are marked, that was the default but still Windows didn't log the BSOD. The dump file type is set to Automatic memory dump, I'm not exactly sure what that does from the guide you posted(again it mentions the relation to pagefile size) , would it help if it switched it to Kernel memory dump? also don't have any cleaning software.

 

Kernel dumpfiles can get very big in size.

Did you (hard) reboot your system after you made the changes for collecting memory dumps.

Some more info of possible causes of not configuring dumpfiles.
