Windows 10: windows didnt detect external display monitor vis avga cable

I m using windows 10 OS .I have an external monitor which I used for other latops which are connected by VGA cable and working fine. but whn I connected to my new acer aspire laptop to this external monitor it is detecting and for half second and disappearing . I hav tried all the modes and updated the drivers. whn I remove the vga cable out of laptop and put it back to VGA slot then the diplay is coming for less than a second and disappearing immediately. shud I uninstall the driver and reinstall it . I m using MAG innovison external monitor. , kindly suggest me the solutions

External Monitor Detected but Does not Display

I have a Surface Pro 3 running Windows 10, creators update 1803.

When attempting to connect to an external display (mini DisplayPort to HDMI), Windows detects the monitor but displays no signal.

The extended desktop appears in screenshots, but nothing on the monitor itself.

So far, I have:

• Updated Surface Pro 3 firmware
• Checked for all Windows update
• Tested with multiple monitors (at least 4)
• Tested with multiple cables
• Tested with multiple adaptors
• Updated Intel Graphics 4400 HD driver
• Removed Intel Graphics 4400 HD and reinstalled
• Rebooted more times than I can count

Any advice?

 

No display on laptop's external monitor-Monitor recognized but blank


After the recent Windows 10 update, my wife's laptop no longer displays on the external monitor. All was well before the update.

I am comfortable that Windows sees the monitor because clicking on Display Settings shows two displays. If I unplug the HDMI cable, only one display is shown.

I have confirmed that the monitor works by trying it with another laptop. I have also changed the HDMI cable between the laptop and the external monitor.

Device manager reports that I have the latest display driver installed.

I would appreciate any and all suggestions.

 

External Monitor not detected

I am running windows 10 on a MacBook Pro using bootcamp. I use a imac as an external monitor. Windows cannot "detect" the monitor. using a firewire connection, which works splendidly under OS. Any suggestions?
