    Windows didn't realize devices got removed and now they're stuck in a state of limbo.


    I had a really finicky usb hub that I had mounted on my desk for easy access to usb ports. I plugged my keyboard and controller into it. at some point, the hub shat itself and disconnected both devices but didn't send windows the signal that they were unplugged. Now I have an elite controller a a blackwidow keyboard, both not being recognized by windows, I presume because the OS thinks they're still plugged in and won't recognize a duplicate device. I can use another keyboard just fine, but since controllers are recognized as different devices for split screen purposes, I can't use one of my other controllers as it's just seen as a second player trying to join.

    So fair I've tried:

    Restarting my PC. still showing in device manager.

    Scanning for hardware changes in device manager. device manager hangs.

    Uninstalling the devices. Device manager hangs.

    disabling the devices. Device manager hangs.

    any help would be really appreciated, I don't want to install windows again as I just did it earlier this week

    OOOOOOOO I thought the bug was being refered to as the limbo bug (Like stuck in limbo..).. not the game limbo having a bug

    I am stuck in child/adult limbo

    So this problem eventually fixed itself. The steps I took went in this order. After realizing it was a child account, I left the family which I could do because I am 18. The account did not change. I then joined back into the family as an adult. This also
    did not fix it. I left the account in this state for about 3 days. When I came back, the problem had been resolved. My guess t

    Is that it just takes a bit of time for the system to change the setting after leaving the family. I would suggest leaving the family and leaving it in that state for a day or two. Test it throughout to see if anything changes.

    Notification didn´t appear

    Windows 10 has ben released for 1 day and a half,and I didn´t get the notification for installing.I reserved it.Can anyone help me?

    PS I am running Windows 7 and it´s up to date.
