    Windows dimming non-active window in split screen view


    Hi,

    My laptop has only starting doing this in the past week or so: When I snap two open windows to the left and right sides of the screen, only thet active one stays full brightness and the other one dims when it's not the focus. This didn't happen before and I don't know what I did to make the behavior starts, but it's consistent whether it's two windows in the same app, Chrome, Windows Explorer, whatever. Why is this doing this and how can I stop it. If it was always this way I'd get over it, but it's a recent change and is driving me absolutely crazy! Thanks.

    When I go to a split screen view in Windows 10, one of the screens will stop working and/or not respond. For example, if I have a video playing and split screens, the video will stop running but the sound will continue. Another example is that I will
    try to use a newly opened screen in split view and the page will not respond. Any suggestions or help?

    How to dim screen?

    I tried googling Windows Ten, "how to dim screen," but the layout listed is not the layout I have. I just got Ten yesterday. How do you dim the screen?

    I can't even find the options in the Display section.
