Windows 10: Windows Disk 100% issue - Fakely notified as 50%

Has anyone noticed, after the Windows 10 Version 2004, the infamous Disk 100% issue has got a fake fix in Task Manager to show Disk is 50% when it is actually 100%? I have an HP Laptop with Optane technology, and no matter what I do as recommended by Microsoft forums, my disk goes 100% non-stop almost all the time. Whatever the fix I implement seems to be temporary. I have disabled so many services, but I still hit 100% most of times, and many reboots needs it to become normal but again it is usually a temporary normal. I have complained this to Microsoft in many ways. However, after the recent Windows 10, version 2004, update, what I saw was, even though the Disk hit the 100% as usual, the Task Manager "Processes" Panel shows only the disk being 50%. However, the Performance page clearly shows the disk being 100%. I was wondering whether someone at Microsoft decided to show Disk 100% as 50% with a mischievous intent, or is it a bug!

Slow PC - 50% Disk Usage but 100% on C: Drive

Hi. i've seen multiple posts on the 100% disk issue and tried all of the previously suggested actions (disabling search, superfetch etc and all that). I had no 'slow' disk issues at all as MS updates seem to have rectified the situation in the Spring of
2018 for us. However, since a September Windows 10 update, we are slow to boot up and slow-running again. When I access the task manager, processes tab, I see disk usage at 50% rather than the previous 100% give-away...

But when I look at the Performance tab, Disk 0 C: (the main hard drive of my machine) is operating at 100% nearly all of the time...

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this issue please a the general running speed and in particular the boot up speed has deteriorated significantly. And in advance, I'm grateful for all suggestions but please don't suggest buying an SSD as I'm
looking for a way of undoing whatever problems MS has caused again rather than having to pay several hundred Euros to fix faults they caused.

Clean install, disk usage at 100%

I've seen that article. and I am in fact not running that driver. I followed the steps and it does not appear in the list.

 

Memory at 50% and Disk usage at 100%

So I bought a brand new gaming laptop and it came with Windows 8 and so I used that for the first day or two and there were no problems. I installed Windows 10 and now the ram/disk was both at 100% most of the time. I was able to fix some mem leak though
the memory is ALWAYS at 50% now and the disk usage is at 100% for the first 30 minutes after start-up. How can I fix these problems?
