  1. Windows Display Clock

    Background:

Essentially, since I've gotten my desktop computer, the display time for windows on my computer has been 5 or so minutes ahead of the actual time. I've tried to fix this before using command prompt SFC scans and DISM scans admittedly I wasn't entirely sure what I was doing, just following a basic troubleshoot guide. When I go to the Date and Time section in Windows settings, it gives me an error when I try to sync with time.windows.com. Not only that, but when I open the Services window, the Windows time service is set to Manual Trigger, and after opening the Properties, I can't edit anything. It doesn't let me press Start, Stop, Pause, Resume, or anything else in the Properties window, as all the boxes are dark shaded and unable to be clicked This applies for not just the General tab of the Properties window.

I'm assuming this has something to do with the issue of the clock being ahead by 5 minutes or so, but I'm not an expert on these types of issues. Was wondering if anyone knew what was going on or how to fix it.

    :)

Dual display in main window for SLI/Crossfire

    W1z,

First of all, I want to thank you for writing such an excellent tool.

After using it for few days, I would like to make a suggestion or two, if you agree that they would be useful.

Would it be possible to move the 'Use Device' list box to the main window, or even better, display the clock settings for both cards on the main window if SLI/Crossfire are enabled?

Also, adding the ability to save both cards clock/fan settings in a single profile would be a welcome addition so that both cards can be OC'ed on startup.

    Thanks again!

    Clock displays wrong time

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the settings of time and time zone:

    • Press “Windows+X” and click on “control panel”.
    • On the left hand side click on “clock, language and region”.
    • Click on “change time zone”.
    • And then click on the tab “internet time” and click on “change settings”.
    • Check the box “synchronize with an internet time server” and also select the option “time.windows.com” from the drop down and click on “ok” and check if the issue persists.

    Windows 10 clock display

Thanks for the reply. However, I had already tried this suggestion. I did it again. When I turn the clock ON, the space where the clock is supposed to appear opens up with no clock displayed until I hover over the space and a very, very faint clock
and date appears. When I turn the clock OFF the clock space closes up and the other icons shift over to fill that space. I tried various time formats and re-positioned the task bar to the top, sides, etc. but no clock appeared. My OS is running Windows
10, 64 Bit version 1709 Build 16299.192 on both work stations. One shows the time and the other doesn't.
