Windows 10: windows display settings will not display

When attempting to access display settings either from settings app it freezes or from desktop it appears blank. How do I fix it?I have tried repairing settings and resetting without success. Also dxdiag does not even show a display tab.

To reset the settings back to default, follow these steps:

• Go to your desktop, right click and select Display Settings.
• Choose the appropriate settings from the options under Display.

I suggest you to follow the below steps how to customize the display:

• In the search box type settings.
• Click on system option.
• Then click on display option and then you can change it.
• For more settings for display you can go for advance settings option.

Driver and/or display problem (AMD)

Try this:

• Right click on a blank area of your desktop and select "Display Properties"

• Select "Advanced Display Settings"

• Select "Display Adapter Properties"

• Click on "List all Modes"

• Select the preferred display mode. Something with at least 60Hz.

• Then select your setting you want

• See if the option came back
