    Windows does not activate after clean install


    Yesterday, I did a clean install of build 10162, and during the install, I was prompted to insert my key. I clicked skip, and now if I go to "Activation", it says "Windows is not activated". I tried this and it did not work. What should I do ?

    PS: I didn't receive the update for build 10240 through windows update.

    reinstalling windows 10

    If i change my HDD after upgrading to windows 10, will the windows be activated automatically after i clean install windows 10 on my new HDD ? It is said after the upgrade on any device the clean installed windows will automatically be activated without
    the key and i dont have to buy windows 10, does it apply to my condition?

    I'm still waiting. Is there another thread or a new policy on this? What if I install onto a clean hard drive?
