Windows 10: Windows doesn't let me open Firefox

    Windows doesn't let me open Firefox


    Usually, this may be because Windows is blocking the program but this is something completely different.

    Windows tells me that I need to ask an adult's permission to open Firefox as if I was in a Microsoft Family group. This happens with no other application. Just Firefox.

    I've seen this happen before as people are in a Microsoft Family but I'm not a part of one. I'm not designated as a child account or an adult account because I'm not in a family group to begin with. Upon opening the Microsoft Family website, it tells me that nobody else is in my family & asks me if I'd like to start an organisation. However, according to that site, I'm not in any such organisation & don't have any roles or permissions attached to my account. This is why it's so strange to me that this Microsoft Family-oriented message would appear for someone who isn't a part of a family. This is even stranger as it appears exclusively for Firefox.

    If anyone could help me resolve this, I'd be very grateful
