Windows 10: Windows doesn't seem to be able to get audio inputs or outputs

Hello, I have been trying to fix my audio problem for a while now. I have tried reinstalling the driver, restarting the audio service, rolling back to a restore point and attempting to recover Windows with a CD and with DISM and SFC. I have also tried messing around with the device itself. From a lot of other things I've tried, I've found one temporary solution which is to switch to another Windowsx32 unlike my current x64 system stored on another hard drive, which worked without any other problems. It seems to me that windows can't get audio inputs or output because in playback devices, it shows that there are no playback devices, but when looking in the devices section in settings, it shows my audio devices. I have also tried to install avirtual audio cable, which also doesn't appear in playback devices when it does on the Windows system on the other hard drive. Will I be able to fix this or will I have to make a full reinstallation of Windows?

No audio input or output devices found

After the last update of Windows 10, no audio devices are listed

Searching in the device manager: all audio devices say it works fine

The sound setting says: no output or input devices were found.

After latest windows 10 update no audio devices are listed/

Looking in device manager - the audio devices all say working OK

But on bar at bottem of screen get speaker with red cross -- Playing audio - Audio trouble shouter cannot find any problems ..

Sound settings say - No output or Input devices found.

Have tried to re-install Realtek audio drivers for motherboard -- installed but no change
