windows dosent use all my ram

after updating my windows on my pc I realized something was wrong.
tasks became a lot slower and things I would do daily like playing games became hard for the pc.
I checked the task manager and I saw it only using 8 Gb when I have 16 it has only 8 usable gigs of ram, and it shows on the task bar it have 16 gigs yet it can only use 8.i tried checking bios changing it on the msconfig and checking the slots yet nothing worked, its not the first time it happened just when it happened in the first time I thought the bios update fixed but now with updated bios and drivers it happened again.
is it a problem within the update itself wich can be fixed within the next update or it is something that is more serious, cause if it is i need help.
sorry if my English isn't so good its my second language.

    :)

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

  3. To RAM or not to RAM...

Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin windows dosent use all my ram :D
