Windows 10: Windows Driver Foundation and Windows Desktop Manager stopped working

I upgraded to Windows 11 a month back and installed all the updates that are available right now. However after the update my system has become very much unstable. Calendar does not popup on clicking the date in the taskbar. I have to repeatedly click several times. Not only this today I checked reliability of my system and was shocked to see so many errors. In Windows 10 there was no issue reported in Reliability History. I see that every time Windows Driver Foundation and Windows Desktop Manager has stopped working. I ran sfc /scannow and DISM restore health commands but no error was reporte

Stop windows automatic driver install

I'm having a problem with installing a nvidia card. windows 7 automatically installs some wdm 1.1 drivers, then when i install the 195.39 drivers, it gives me less performance. like the cards lags in games when it should run fine.

how can i stop windows from installing the drivers automatically ?

i tried checking the "don't install drivers from windows update" in device manager. it still installs it.
