Windows 10: Windows DVD Player

I just purchased the Windows DVD Player App. The audio is fine, but the video has a really bad frame rate. The frames are jumpy like a slideshow instead of a motion picture. I have used the optical drive before on another computer with another DVD App, and it worked fine. My graphics card drivers are up to date.Please advise.

Burned DVD's Work in SOME players

In that case, it is possible the problem is with the blu ray player not supporting DVD+R disks.

Suggest you check to make sure: it's possible you can overcome this problem by simply burning DVD-R instead of DVD+R. Check your blu ray compatibility list first.

In order to assist you better could you please confirm whether you're using the Windows 10 DVD player App or Windows Media Player (DVD).

I suggest you to update the drivers from the Device Manager and see if this helps. Follow the steps below to do the same:

• Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand the DVD/CD ROM Drives.
• Right-click on the mentioned drive and click on Properties.
• Go to Drivers Tab and click on Update.
• Restart the computer and check.
