    Windows Edge - not most up-to-date version


    Hi


    I am on the most up-to-date version of Windows10 but not the most up-to-date version of Windows Edge. The updates on my PC are carried out automatically and so I don't see how this has happened.

  2. Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


    I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

    Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
    We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
    I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
    Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
    Step 2:
    I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
    It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

  3. Up to date version of Edge?

    Thank you for your response with current status of the issue.

    Refer to the below steps and check if it helps.

    Step 1: I suggest you to try to check the issue in Internet Explorer.

    To find Internet Explorer in Windows 10.

    1. Click on Start Menu.

    2. Then type “Internet Explorer” without the quotes on Search box and click on it.

    Step 2: Microsoft Edge clearing browsing history.

    1. Open Microsoft Edge and click on Search bar.

    2. Click on Three dots (...) synbol which is at the top right corner of the browser and click on
    Settings.

    3. Click on Choose What to Clear.

    4. Choose the options in the list and click on
    Clear.

    Step 3: Try to turn off the pop blocker and check if the issue persist. Then turn on the pop up blocker.

    1. Open Microsoft Edge and click on Search bar.

    2. Click on Three dots (...) synbol which is at the top right corner of the browser and click on
    Settings.

    3. Click on View Advanced settings.

    4. Turn off Block Pops-up.

    As the above description is not clear provide additional information to assist you better with this issue:

    • Are you referring to Office Outlook (Mail client version)/ Mail app/ Windows Live Mail?
    • What is the complete error message/ error code of this issue?
    • What is the exact issues you are facing?
    • What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue?

    If you are referring to Windows Mail app, let us try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

    Step 1: I suggest you to check if there are any updates for Mail app in Windows Store. If found try to update the app.

    Step 2: I suggest you to run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter,
    troubleshoots problems that may prevent Windows Store Apps from working correctly.

    Refer: Run the troubleshooter for Windows apps

    Step 3: I suggest you to check with the system Date, time and Time zone
    is set correct.

    Follow the steps to set the date and time:

    • Type Date and Time in the search bar.
    • Click Change date and time button.
    • Click Apply and Ok to save the date and time.
    Note: Click on the Time Zone tab to check the Time Zone.
