Windows 10: Windows edition auto-downgraded?

Weird issue, never encountered this before: Was running Windows 10 Pro, 21H1. Upgraded 10 to Windows 11 via a mounted ISO from Microsoft's download page. Ran fine for a while, then had an issue that required me to reinstall. I took advantage of the problem as an opportunity to upsize my SSD. Used the same Windows 11 ISO to create a bootable thumb drive. Reinstalled Windows 11. Upon successful reinstall to the brand new SSD, my edition of Windows 11 was now Home Edition, no longer Pro. So now I can't join my home domain, unless I pay for an upgraded edition. Anyone have a clue how this happened

I would try these:

• Get your Windows 7 media device and reinstall Windows
• Try auto-repair
• Follow these steps:

1. Put in your Windows 10 media device, boot into the USB
2. Select your language and keyboard input, then click next.
3. Click "Repair this computer"
4. Go to "Advanced options"
5. click system restore
6. Select a restore point before you downgraded to Windows 7.

Downgrading Windows 7 Enterprise into lower Windows 7 editions

Unfortunately, you don't qualify for any downgrade rights.

Note downgrade rights are only available as long as Microsoft provides support for that earlier version, as outlined in the Windows lifecycle fact sheet.

• Accept the Microsoft Software License Terms.
  
• Perform the downgrade process to the eligible downgrade product using the media/key from a genuine, previously licensed OEM or retail product.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
