Windows 10: Windows entered a loop while restarting at 74%

    Windows entered a loop while restarting at 74%


    While restarting Windows, I got stuck in the 74% loop, go to 95%, and then restart from 74% again. Please provide me with some means to enter recovery mode so that I can restore Windows to its original factory state.

    Hi,

    To understand the issue better, I would like to ask some questions:

    • What is the make and model of your computer?
    • Do you get any error message?

    Windows 10 reset stuck in loop from 64% to 74%

    Attempting a reset on a Dell XPS desktop, with the retain personal files option selected:

    Windows 10 Installing Windows reset tops out at 74%. Every time it gets to that point, which takes several minutes, the computer restarts itself and goes back to 64% (0% configuring settings), again climbs back to 74% (26% configuring settings), and then
    restarts again in a repeating loop (so far, lasting about 4 hours).

    What can I do (if anything) to finish the reset? Or just wait it out? Thanks!
