    Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

    Download CCcleaner from here...........

CCleaner Professional | Try the world’s most trusted PC cleaner, free!

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

  3. WMPlayer win32 error

List the EXACT "blah, blah" you mention, here please... for ALL installation cases!

(Sound like a possible "DLL-Hell" issue, but "Windows File Protection" &/or "System File Protection" should have countered for this... no biggie, there's ways around that too!)

*Smile Windows Error Report file query :)

    * I have to 'step-out' now, but imo, this is the track to pursue here, & we will when I get back... so, please list that data I request!

Window 10 error reporting no longer works

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

As per the description, I understand that you are facing some issues using Windows 10.

This might have occurred due to some corruptions.

    Try the methods.

    Method 1:

I would suggest you to try the steps to check whether the service is running or not.

    • Press Windows + R keys.
    • Type “services.msc”.
    • Search for Windows error reporting service.
    • Right click on Windows error reporting service.
    • Click on properties.
    • Click on general tab, under startup type set it to
      automatic.
    • Below the startup type tab under services set it to
      start if it is stopped.

    Method 2:

Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe)

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files. It will scan your system files and to repair missing or corrupted system files in Windows. To run the SFC scan,
refer to the Microsoft article below.

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

Hope this information helps. Please let us know if you need any other assistance with Windows in future. We will be happy to assist you.
