Windows 10: Windows Error When Trying to Access "Language Bar Options"

I recently bought this Lenovo Ideapad 110 for studying and watching videos on Youtube. I study 3 languages, so having shortcuts like ctrl+shift+1 to switch to a particular language is much more preferable to having to press windows+space to slowly switch between them. Today, I decided to set up those shortcuts. Unfortunately, they moved the old method of settings up these shortcuts to a different place, but when I found the location, an error popped up. In the "Advanced Keyboard Configuration" section, I clicked on "Language Bar Options" and it popped up the following error: "Windows cannot access the device, the access path, or the specified files. It may be that you don't have appropriate permission to access the component"

Quick Access bar

Remove items from Quick access.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps.

• Right click on the file or folder.
• Select the option “unpin from the quick access”

To pin items to an item already on the quick access bar.

Follow the below steps.

I would suggest you to create folder in the desktop screen & place all the files or folder which need to pin to the quick access.

• Open the quick access.
• Select the Desktop option.
• Right click on the folder & select the option “pin to quick access”

Language bar is gone in windows 10

Hello,

I understand that the Language Bar is not found in Windows. We will help you.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if the issue persists.

• Press Windows + X keys and select Control Panel.
• Search Language and select it.
• Left side pane select Advanced settings.
• Under Switching Input methods check mark "Use the desktop language bar when its available."
• Click Save. Check if the issue persists.

Windows 8.1 update changed the language, can't change back

Maybe, these will help... it seems it is a common enough problem.

Language packs are no longer available after you upgrade to Windows 8.1

Change your Windows display language
To change your Windows display language (that's the language you see most often in Windows and apps), first add a language, download and install the language pack, and then follow these steps.

  (If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, click Settings, and then click Change PC settings.)
• Tap or click Time and language, and then tap or click Region and language.
• Tap or click the language that you want to set as your display language.
• Tap or click Set as primary to move the language to the top of the list. If the language can become your Windows display language, you'll see Will be display language after next sign-in appear under the language.
• Sign out and then sign back in to finish.
