In Settings under Network Status, Ethernet is reporting 536.02 GB usage in the last 30 days.On my account page with my ISP Comcast, it is reporting 937 GB of usage, in less than 30 days, which is almost DOUBLE!!! Why am I seeing this discrepancy in usage statistics between my ethernet connection and my ISP? I have no other devices connected to my modem and have disabled all of the wireless networks through the modem settings page.Modem:Arris G36

    Missing 30 GB

Another disappointment with Windows 10. When I select all files on drive C, I get info that all of the files take up 56.7 GB, but when I look at the drive C it says 93.3 GB are in use. There is a difference of 36.6 GB between these two reports. Which one
can I trust? Where did my 36.6 GB go? I already deleted system restore points, cleaned disk space using ccleaner, and none of that helped. Command prompt command that leads to usage of shadow files returned no results, too.

Data Usage for the past 30 days

I have just changed ISP, which I think has caused me a problem which may be easy to solve.

I look at the Data Usage in Settings regularly just to cross check other forms of measurement. But since signing up to my new ISP the "Data Usage" module seems to have become disconnected and has been reducing day by day despite some heavy downloads from
Microsoft. My ethernet is recorded at 4 GB for the last 30 days when I know that yesterday alone there was about 3.2 GB downloaded.

How can I reconnect this module to my new router ? I have changed nothing that I am aware of, just replaced one router with another.

    Thank You.

Windows 10, 400 GB network data on "System" in the past 30 days

Normally, the "System" use network to download Windows Update. Even so, for me it seems irregular to reach 419 GB. You can try other apps to track network traffic and compare it. Maybe it just a glitch in windows in measure network usage.

One freeware I recommend is Networx (it's now commercial apps since v6.0). It provides a similar usage list with a daily basis network usage report.
