Windows 10: Windows Explorer Auto-Sort Question

Not so much a problem, but just a question.I have two mp4 files and two folders which used to house said files. Both of the mp4 files had similar names except one had an additional word and both of folders were named after whatever mp4 file it housed.When I go to sort it by name, the folders sort themselves fine the folder that has the additional word in its name is below the other folder but the mp4 files do the opposite the mp4 with the longer name goes on top of the other file.Is there a reason why it does this? I want to keep the title I have on there, but I don't want to put file 1 an

Sorting with File Explorer.

I tried the method that was complicated (3rd option) but fell over in second step as I could not find any "apply to folder button"'.

However, the simple put *.* in search bar, then sort results windows by date does the trick. It is slightly cumbersome as I have to do that each time I am selecting files (to upload to sharepoint) but a lot less hassle than I was having to scroll up and down between sorted file block and sorted folder block.

File Explorer - Auto Sort

I am sorry, but I cannot find any options for Auto Arrange in a folder. I see it for the Desk Top icons, but not in a File Explorer window.

I did not change any settings. The file list has always resorted itself immediately after renaming a file in Windows 7 and Windows 8. But it is not doing so in Windows 10.

If there is a setting for Auto Arrange in a File Explorer window, can you tell me where to find it?
