    Windows explorer doesn't have shadow or border when active


    Windows isn't showing borders around the file explorer making it very confusing to use with a white background. Changing my theme color is not an option so please don't give me that terrible answer, I've read it 1000 times already and it doesn't fix this issue. I have the show shadows option checked but there are still no shadows around the windows. This is occurring on both my desktop and laptop as well as coworker's computers so it isn't a single computer specific issue.In the image below are two file explorer windows and you can see that there is no clear delineation between the two.My sett

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

    Active Explorer Box Border Not visible After 1809 Update

    I don't have that setting checked yet my active window is correctly defined:

    There is a shadow around each window that sets it off from other windows when they overlay. May be a setting for that/
