Has anyone run into this? I have been having issues lately with Explorer/File Explorer where every so many minutes, things would lock up for a number of seconds, then the file explorer windows will each flash one (usually one after another quickly) and then everything returns to normal. Sometimes Explorer would lock up and restart (although File Explorer windows remain open...usually you lose those when explorer restarts).

OS: Windows 10 2004, latest updates applied (19041.546)

Video card: GTX 1060, drivers are up-to-date

In Event Viewer there are some errors:
    - Failed with 0x57 retrieving AppModel Runtime status for package Windows.
    (this one repeats a lot)

    - Unable to start a DCOM Server:
    Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_1.13.0.18362_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy...
    (this one repeats a lot)

Nothing else worth mentioning in the event viewer. Nothing really pops up at the time of each flicker of things. I am guessing this has something to do with one of the many buggy updates that have occurred over the last so many months.

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?

Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).
