Windows 10: Windows Explorer - How to disable Group By, or set to None, on all folders permanently

I am having trouble with the Group By feature in Windows Explorer.I desire to not have the Group By option selected.I have followed instructions to change this in the folder options, but the Group By options keeps turning back on at a later time.Last post I read had links to 3rd party software which suggests will do this, which I would prefer not to use, and would think there would be a way to achieve disabling Group By without installing a 3rd party program.Seeking assistance and/or information on how to completely turn off disable the Group By feature permanently across all folders.

Exact same question, still occurring in Windows 11 for a long time now. The only reply in that thread didn't help, so I'm asking for more help.

"I would like to permanently disable or remove the "Group By" option in the "View menu" of "File Explorer" in Windows. I can not foresee any universe in which I would want this setting. It keeps turning itself ON randomly on a folder that I may be working on.

Yes, I know how to disable it for that instance. And yes I know how to apply it all folders. But this does not help, because it keeps turning itself ON."

Permanently disable Group by view everywhere in Windows 11 Home

I tried all the suggested approaches I found, but the extremely annoying Group-by view returns, specially in Download folder and save as window.

How can I permanently disable this everywhere, once and forever?

Permanently select detail view and no grouping in ALL folders + drives

Hello,

I never ever want to see folder icons again in Windows Explorer. How do I PERMANENTLY select detail view and disable any kind of grouping in ALL folders, ALL sub-folders (especially in the Download folder), and in ALL local drives?

I'm logged in as administrator. I've made adjustments to Windows Explorer's View options many, many times but it seems that the settings are never set *permanently* for all folders, subfolders, and local drives. By permanent, I mean the settings survive a cold boot.

I have Win 10 Pro version 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1466). Btw, is this the latest build?
