    I have this exact same problem with my Windows 10 64 system. I was thinking that it started when I recently tried out Bitdefender IS, but am not sure. I have not found any solution yet. Is there an answer?

    no sound on spectre x360 after Windows 10 upgrade

    I am just noticing that i am not getting anysound from my laptop. I have a spectre x360. I am not sure if it started immediately after Windows 10 upgrade. But i am sure I was able t get audio before the upgrade. The audio icon in the notification area
    has a little red x on the icon. And when I click on the icon the troubleshooter launches. Ironically the message says The Troubleshooter couldn't identifhy the problem.

    Battery icon missing from Windows 10 taskbar

    did not work for me ... tried restarting windows explorer using taskbar and tried the notification area but battery icon is not present in the choices..

    This icon will stay in the tray until I click it and it shows My Computer. This is what it looks like.

    That looks like the disconnected shared drive icon.

    When asked for the picture, we need the whole taskbar, no problem on this, since it is the same icon on all Windows distro, until you reconnect to a share.
