Windows 10: Windows Explorer in Windows 11 continually hangs. Why?

I am having problems with Windows Explorer.My PC is a HP All-in-One 24-dp0xxxIt is an x64-based PCIt is running Windows 11 Home Version 10.2.22621 Build 22621Every time I try to use Explorer it hangs.I don't even get a Not Responding Message, the App I'm using just doesn't respond to anything and I have to reboot my PC to get rid of the problem.I've tried using Task Manager to stop the process and to restart, but this has no effect.I'm quite honestly fed up as I can't save files, I can't access my Backup Device.Any sensible ideas, please?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer

I don't use Internet Explorer, I meant the thing where you can look at files etc. Hotkey Windows+E. Maybe it's the wrong name in english though. *Stick Out Tongue
