    In the file details or properties all my .jpg files are not showing picture related information like dimensions. But in the exact same file if I only rename it to .jpeg, then it shows all the information missing in the .jpg views, like dimensions, camera, f-stop, ISO, etc..Please note that the information is there, as the original file is the .jpg one.So windows explorer is showing all the info details for the .jpeg files but not to .jpg files.It seems that is something related with .jpg view config in regedit ? I've verified the .jpg extension in regedit and is configured as a image fon the P

    Details Pane not showing codec info

    Hi,

    please see my screenshot, my details pane is not showing any codec information.

    I had to reinstall after a windows 10 update killed my computer (update loop bsod - I can't believe updates are stilling crashing computers).

    before the details pane use to show codec info like:
    • Video Codec, example VC-1, AVC
    • Audio Codec, example DTS, TrueHD

    how do I get it to show?

    File Explorer info window obscures following items

    In details view, selecting an item presents a small window with additional info, that I am not interested in at this moment. This small window obscures the name of the following items in the list, see picture.
    Is there any trick to prevent the appearance of this additional window

    How ID3v2 tag info translates to File Explorer Details

    I am using File Explorer to read my mp3 tags and sort my music files based on those tags to create play lists.
    One thing that is kind of hosing me up is a disconnect between the ID3v2 tags and File Explorer details.
    File Explorer doesn't have an "Artist" detail available - rather, it has Contributing Artists and Album Artist.
    The info I put in the ID3v2 "Artist" tag shows up in the Contributing Artists detail in File Explorer.
    I would rather have it in the Album Artist detail and use Contributing Artists for contributing artists.
    For example, Derek & The Dominoes and Blind Faith are album artists, and Eric Clapton is a contributing artist to both.
    So my question is, is there a way to get File Explorer to read the ID3v2 "Artist" tag as the Album Artist detail?
    Can I add "Artist" to the list of available File Explorer details and read it to there?
    I am on Win 10 Version 10.0.19044 Build 19044
