Windows 10: Windows Explorer Not Retaining Settings

I have Windows 11 and am using a Lenovo Idea Pad. I use this computer mainly for designing, using lightburn laser software. Because of this, I have a large amount of SVG files saved, and I set my view to extra large in file explorer. When I attempt to open a file in my lightburn software, upon opening file explorer within the program, it's defaulting back to list view. I keep saving my settings but nothing is changing. I have restarted the computer, reset the settings to default and then back to my preferred settings. To figure out if this was a lightburn or windows issue, I attempted ope

Thank you for the detailed response. To change the search result's view from content to list, we suggest following the steps below:

• Open the File Explorer and try to search for files.
• In the toolbar, open the View tab and click List
  to change the view.
• Once changed, close the File Explorer.
• Open the File Explorer again and try to search to see if the setting has been retained.

are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer

 

MSI Afterburner not retaining settings

My MSI AB settings are not being retained either at Windows startup or if I quit AB.
I have applied the settings, saved them to profile 1 and the Windows Startup icon is green.
Is there some addiotnal step I need to do?

W10 64 bit 2004
