Windows 10: Windows explorer opens documents folder when i try to open my phone's internal storage on...

So basically what i wanted to do was to manually backup some data from my old s22 ultra to my computer using an usb cable, and i've done it multiple times before, even with other phones, but it looks like this option is now broken.When i plug my cell phone to my computer, it recognizes the phone and even shows it at the dispositives tab in explorer, and when i click on it, it even shows the "internal storage folder", and this is where the strange thing starts to happen.When i click on the internal storage of my phone folder in explorer, it just opens the documents tab in another window, and

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Opening a Folder in VC++

I've recently started learning VC++ and it's coming along quite nicley, I've now been given a little task by my boss to add a button to an excisting Incident report program.

All the button needs to do is open a new explorer window and open the folder selected in the incident report program. There isn't a deadline for it, it's just to assist in my learning.

I'm not asking for anyone to do it for me, i just need a few suggestions on how to do this so i'm looking in the correct direction?

How to get file explorer to open the last open folder (ie: documents) when opening? It always opens to the list of all folders; is there any way to have it open to the previously open folder?
