Windows 10: windows explorer stops working when i change the font

i'm using lenovo legion 7 16IAX7 with intel i9-12900HX and rtx 3080tiwhenever i try to set a custom font in my laptop, it makes the windows explorer freak out and it's unusable. start menu turns transparent and it's blinking, and you cannot select or type anything in it nor in the file explorer.to change the font i'm using the .reg file i sent the content of below and then restart my pc. in case someone tried it and had the same issue as me, you revert it by running same .reg file, but you change the bottom to "Segoe UI"=-the only things i've done to the laptop is updating the system and all

Changing my own language font

From the screen shot it seems you are using Google chrome to change the language font Which is downloaded from the internet. So, I suggest you to contact chrome support for further assistance.

If you are using Internet Explorer, please follow the steps below:

• Open Internet Explorer.
• Click on Internet options.
• Click on fonts.
• you can change the font as desired.

I found these steps in this forum from back in 2010:

Step 1:

I would suggest you to try these steps and check whether it helps in fixing your issue.

Open font settings by clicking on start, click on control panel, and then click on appearance and personalization, under fonts click on change font settings. And select the font size.

Step 2:

If you’re trying to change windows font size then please follow the steps below:

To change Windows fonts

1. Open Appearance Settings by clicking the Start button and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type window color, and then click Change window colors and
metrics.

2. In the Item list, click the part of Windows that you want to change the font for. For example, if you want to change the menu font, click Menu in the list. Then, make any of the following changes:

· In the Font list, click the font that you want to use.

· In the Size list, click the font size that you want.

· In the Color list, click the font color that you want.

3. Repeat these steps for each item that you want to make changes to, and then click OK.

latest W10 update steps 3 and 4 are not available.

I need to increase the font size in explorer so I can read my file names. magnifier sucks my screen keeps moving around and I drag stuff where i dont want it.

every time there is an update my settings get removed and there are no help files for months.

Please follow the steps in order to change the fonts.

To change the font size in desktop:

• Tap Start button.
• Type Fonts.
• Select “View Installed Fonts”.
• Select “Change Font Size”.
• There is a drop down. "Title Bar" with another drop down to its right showing point size numbers.
