Windows 10: Windows Explorer/Task Bar crashing over and over

So, an error I've had for about a week or two. It happens all the time even if nothing is running. The Explorer app crashes, and the task bar goes away and returns a few seconds later along with the night light setting turning off and on along with it. Not sure how to fix this so I've included the error log from Event Viewer which I believe to be the correct issue. Issue isn't keeping me from doing anything, but it is extremely inconvenient as it sometimes freezes anything that is open until it returns.Faulting application name: explorer.exe, version: 10.0.19041.2364,&

Thank you for your reply. If the above steps did not work, let's try another workaround. You can try restarting your Windows Explorer from the Task Manager and see if it will resolve the issue. Follow the steps below:

• Open Task Manager.
• Click the drop-down arrow beside More details.
• Under Processes tab, look for Windows Explorer from the list.
• Select Windows Explorer, right-click on it and select Restart.

After doing so, open Windows Explorer and see if it will crash again.

Effective Way to Solve the File Explorer Crashes Issue

You can try the following steps:

1. Tap down the Windows button first to activate the search bar.
2. After that, in the search bar type control, and then click on the top-most search result, that is on Control Panel.
3. Next, in the search bar type file.
4. Now, from the search results click on File Explorer Options.
5. Then, click on the Clean button.
6. Lastly, click on Apply and then on OK.

Cannot modify Task Bar settings

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."
